The NLRC Microbiology lab follows stringent quality control rules outlined in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 which is accredited from ENAS (Emirates National Accreditation System) & IAS (International Accreditation Service). The department provides a wide range of tests covering pathogens, spoilage organisms, and indicator organisms using biological, biochemical, molecular, or chemical methods for the detection, identification, and enumeration of microorganisms in a variety of materials such as food, drink, environmental, and personnel care products. Our comprehensive suite of microbiological tests will assess the safety of these items, assisting you in eliminating harmful bacteria and avoiding safety recalls. Microbiological testing services comprise analytical services for the identification, enumeration, and eradication of microorganisms in accordance with local regulatory criteria, as well as APHA/ CCFRA/CMMEF/ FDA-BAM and ISO standard procedures. Technicians are trained on a yearly basis and must pass competence testing on a regular basis.
